Pari-mutuel betting on horse racing is legal in Ohio. The state’s racinos offer both live and off-track betting options. Additionally, residents can engage in online pari-mutuel wagering through platforms like TwinSpires and TVG.
Online Gambling
As of now, Ohio permits specific forms of online gambling, including mobile sports betting, daily fantasy sports, and certain pari-mutuel betting activities. However, online casino games and online poker remain illegal. The state has not yet moved toward legalizing or regulating these forms of online gaming.
Legal Gambling Age
In Ohio, individuals must be at least 21 years old to participate in casino gaming and sports betting. For pari-mutuel betting and lottery games, the minimum age is 18.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) is responsible for regulating casino gaming and sports betting in the state.
